The Challenge
Building custom control rooms and light standards for marine facilities demanded more than standard fabrication. The structures needed to provide a safe, functional operating environment while accommodating electrical systems, equipment mounting requirements, and operator visibility. At the same time, each unit had to be engineered to withstand saltwater corrosion, coastal weather, and years of continuous service.
THE SOLUTION
Nordholm engineered and fabricated complete control room and light standard assemblies tailored to the project's operational requirements. Utilizing a modular fabrication approach, critical components were built and pre-assembled in our Everett facility to ensure quality, structural integrity, and efficient field installation. The finished structures incorporated integrated electrical provisions, durable protective coatings, and heavy-duty construction designed for long-term performance in harsh marine environments.
