Bragg Heavy Coke Drum Move

Project Overview

Nordholm provided specialized transportation equipment and field support for the movement of two coke drums from the Port of Stockton to the Martinez Refinery in California. Working with Bragg Heavy Transport, the project required a transport system capable of handling oversized refinery vessels while maintaining control, stability, and safety throughout the move

The Challenge
The Solution

Coke drums are among the largest pressure vessels used in refining operations. Their dimensions, weight, and importance to refinery production create unique transportation and installation challenges. Every phase of the move must be carefully engineered to maintain safety, schedule certainty, and operational reliability.

Nordholm provided comprehensive project support, combining transportation expertise, lift planning, and field execution coordination to move oversized refinery equipment safely and efficiently.
